We're looking for new developers to join our team, maintaining and extending a web application for selling insurance online.

Description follows:

[The Job]
We require a Web Application Developer to work in the insurance industry who is highly experienced in PHP 5 development.
The purpose of the job is to develop well designed and documented, highly scalable, highly available web based systems as well as providing day to day operational support and development. 

[The Company]
These vacancies will provide the opportunity to join a fast-growing, exciting insurance company based in Aust, North Bristol.
We are 20 minutes drive from Central Bristol, 5 minutes from Aztec West and 10 minutes from Thornbury with free secure parking, a location that avoids many of Bristol's notorious traffic black spots.

[Main Duties]
* Maintenance of existing sites and developing new features to these sites.
* Building new sites.
* Developing high performance, scalable solutions.
* Investigating and resolving customer generated issues.
* Writing well structured and well documented code.

[Skills and Experience]
As well as the above knowledge, you will have experience in working with high volume, highly available, complex database driven systems.

You must also possess:
* Knowledge of OO coding techniques
* Knowledge of JavaScript development
* Knowledge of Zend studio and Zend platform  desirable
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Ability to work closely with business team to flesh out solutions
* Flexible with ability to work to strict deadlines either as an individual or within a team
* Computer Science degree or equivilent desirable    

[Rewards and Benefits]
* The salary range is £18,000 - £35,000 and will be agreed on an individual basis dependant on knowledge, skills and experience.
