we're running CS3 on a couple of MacPros and a couple of iMacs and the designers love it because it hasn't crashed since installing it and is fast, whereas CS2 on an Intel mac caused no end of frustration however much memory we chucked at it
 
expensive - but then so is the alternative of lost files / downtime / designer hair transplants

Is the Adobe CS3 stuff optimised for intel macs? I'm looking at
photoshop specifically, plus maybe dreamweaver - anyone using them on
intel mac? does it run as well as expected? (which for those prices
i'm expecting to be blisteringly fast, perfectly stable and possibly
to bring me lifelong wealth and happiness, and make my coffee for me
etc.)

I hate the thought of spending that much on software and it turning
out to be a bit ropey...
