Mmm. It's a bit like open source and DRM. We've ended up with
Microsoft DRM on the BBC's iPlayer because no-one else will step up to
the plate. Similarly, podcasting was founded on complete openness and
freedom, so extending the concept to include what you're describing is
a little anathemic.
