Depends on the RAID card, but generally I've found that RAID 1 disks work very nicely on their own (as opposed to RAID 5 ones, which obviously don't). Because they're a mirror, each disk is just an exact copy of what you used to have. So long as you plug it one into a normal controller (not a raid one), and don't click "yes" to anything, it *ought* to be OK to give it a go. Possibly :) YMMV. Or another option is to look up the motherboard specs, work out which raid controller chip it used, then see if you can get hold of a card with the same chip in. Oliver.
