That site (worked for me) explains all the pitfalls of using unheated SVO - I think I'd have to be doing a much bigger mileage than I am (I cycle to work :-) before I would see any ROI on fuel heaters, extra services and general faffing around. The idea of having extra wiring and plumbing to go wrong and an extra fuel tank to hold start up fuel all grates against my plan - formulated during 5 years of running (and occasionally pushing) a very modified car - of having a car that is as the maker intended and, most importantly, reliable!
