Probably not at launch, but yeah at some point, I've got a stack of PS2
games that I go back to occasionally, But I don't play any games enough to
warrant a new system entirely. (Though I do occasionally lust after a wii.)

Been the same all my life and its never let me down yet...
Spectrum 16k -> Spectrum 48K "dead flesh" -> Spectrum 128k+2 - > Sam coupe
