Last time I tried to use the computers at the central library, I just wanted
to look up some details of a piece of music. I booked a PC out for 10 mins
thinking that would be plenty for a single Google search. 9 mins later the
thing was still logging me in.

I don't know what the library's policy is on self-provided laptops, but I
bet it's not very liberal.

I would suggest Watershed (so long as you buy a coffee every hour) but it's
not so free of screaming childers now we've gone 100% non-smoking. Might be
worth a try if the library kicks you out, though.
