My 3 did the Henleaze Infants/Juniors bit and they all still get a bit
misty eyed about the May Day fete.  Other Henleaze-ites did the Westbury
Park bit and were equally happy, and other chums from the other side of
the tracks (aka Kellaway Avenue) have been well pleased with Bishop
Road.  

#2 son spend a couple of years at the Bristol Grammar Lower School -
dunno if that was/is typical of the private sector, but there really was
an attitude of 'I pays my dosh, you educate the kid' attitude compared
with going to state school round the corner where load of parents were
engaged with helping out.  And of course BGS has a catchment area that
takes in most of Bristol and the environs whereas with local school for
local folks, all the kids chums were mostly from the neighbourhood.  And
all that driving around too.
