ahh, yes, don't disagree there (though it only takes a small
explanitory para), there's obviously other options, a series of
checkboxes named with array syntax selectA[] etc would also suffice.

My point was really why is JP using JS when a non-JS solution would be
easier to implement and work perfectly.
