You can get outside the walled garden with a Web addon - I have the
"casual web use" addon - no monthly fee, £2 per MB. I rarely use it,
though, because the stuff I need when I'm out and about (train times,
football scores) are available within Planet 3. The train times cost
25p per go, but is included in my free £5 of downloads a month, so
it's effectively free.
