I just got sent the link to the petition - again :grr: - but while I'm
all in favour of pricing cars off the roads (or at least getting
people out of cars a good amount of the time), the whole tracking
issue is of greater concern.

I may sign the petition while holding my nose, like the French
socialists voting for Chirac to keep Le Pen out...
