I believe that's not the case actually - one of the main reasons NTHell/Telewest purchased Virgin Mobile was because their customer service is good (NTLs being terrible, Telewest being ok) - I know too many people who work for VM for it too be terrible :P Also a condition of the deal was a year or so grace period, where NTL/Telewest were expected to meet the standards of the Virgin group in terms fo service etc - which must have past as they've taken the name now.
