 From what we found of the one we had briefly in the office, all it  
does i get sent audio files and plays them.  Ie all the text-to- 
speech bit is done on a remote server somewhere.  I didn't get a  
chance to look at the data to see what protocols it uses, but I'm  
guessing it is most likely http, so probably possible to spoof the  
server locally and do what you want.
