Already is 30mph, but I think bus drivers are exempt from speeding penalties so I guess it gives the impression that the speed limit might be higher. Come to think of it, isn't the lane nearest a bus lane? Should be no cars near pedestrians? only professional drivers with up to 60 passengers in their care. Traffic calming, good idea. However in Bristol what they do is reduce the width of the road so that cyclists get shunted into high containment kerbs by nutters who arn't detered by traffic calming measures. Steve
