We're currently looking into a VOIP solution for the office and so have the option of choosing the telephone numbers/prefix and I'm wondering if it's worth going for a 0845/0870/Local number. In the past 0845 has always "appeared" more businesslike but I've noticed a fair few companies have gone down the route of opting for a local number i.e. 0207 rather than the 0845. There's little costs difference in regards the VOIP setup and I don't need to worry about moving as when we do we can keep the localised number but I was wondering whether one gave a better/worse opinion to prospects? Does 0845 still have the same prestige or are people put off calling them as they're not included in their mobile plan's free minutes quota? Tim
