In all fairness, I think that's a good example of how animated GIFs can work nicely on a web page. I find them there dots quite tasteful! And on the homepage they really do as intended - your eye chases them like a cat and you feel utterly compelled to enter the site! Sorry, no suggestions on the issues however...
