Hi Joel and [_] Either .co.uk or a UK host will do the trick. Otherwise the site will not appear in the UK option of the .co.uk index, and will probably not perform as well on the Web option of the .co.uk index. You can also use Google Webmaster Tools to associate a site with the UK (or other geographical area).
