3DSecure has been around for ages, and if you're a regular online shopper
you will definitely have come across it before. If you've purchased
something from Dabs or Ebuyer over the last few years you will have used it
... the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode are instantly
recognisable now and I don't really think it will put people off. It never
put me off ... in fact I was glad of that extra layer of security,
considering no one but me knows my password. It only asks you for 3 specific
characters (random each time), so phishing is not really an issue.

As far as I'm aware, you are allowed to place it in an iframe or similar, so
you can keep the user 'on your site'. And as for skinning it, I don't think
this is possible as I've never seen one look any different. Keep it
recognisable I say.
