I'd feel a lot more secure if the verification page was on the bank's  
own domain, rather than randomthirdparty.com. I've no idea why they do  
it like this. Rather than halifax.co.uk, I get securesuite.co.uk/hbos.  
How am I supposed to know who on earth "securesuite" is? The  
certificate identifies them as CYOTA Inc, based in New York. Very  
helpful. Very reassuring.
