yeah, I also think the sounds have a large part to play in that. As
you rightly say, by pressure resonance you can get a huge range of
sounds.

I agree there - which is why I've taken up the drums again, and also
started doing piano scales (having spent the majority of my time with
synths, or feeling my way through).

it's really sparked my interest in making music again, which Logic Pro
and a load of soft synths has struggled to do for years.

My girl fancies learning the cello actually, might tap you up some
time if that's ok about that :)
