Blackberry works well with IMAP but you will need to change your contract to include data or you'll get nailed on the data charges. Also unless you've got deep pockets and can afford the Blackberry Enterprise Server and Exchange combo, calendar and contacts syncing is done via a USB cable. The Blackberry software is Windows only unless you shell out for Missing Sync on OSX. ToDo lists could be synced via RSS on the Blackberry. And finally Blackberry's only transfer data via GPRS so browsing is a bit on the slow side. Having said all that though the 8800 has got a cool GPS app and the browser is pretty good with a nice big screen to view pages and a QWERTY keybaord. My (non work) phone is a Nokia N95 which is great and also has GPS, web browsing WiFi and laods of other bits that I've not played with. The ToDo and Calendering functionality is good and I use it all the time. I don't know how you'd sync it with Highrise or Backpack though. The major drawback with it though is the email is pull only so you'll have to connect every time you want to get your email. Mat
