Hi James, Late reply but I've been too busy to catch up with [_] lately. I think you will find that the off-the-shelf solutions are aimed almost entirely at "bulk market" i.e small stores with low website build budgets - Its really easy to understand why, since they are all marketed products or OS projects. Competitive online stores owe their "edge" to their system and completion process almost as much as their prices and products (in the same way that service is important in stores) - So these systems are usually developed bespoke and its hard for a software product solution to break that market. We've put together our own e-commerce base engine so that we can supply these sort of solutions for clients, and I am sure a few other companies here on [_] have done exactly the same thing or have had to heavily customise existing OS packages. By the sounds of it a bespoke solution is likely to be the only answer at the moment for something that can adapt to all your specific needs - but if someone has built the base system ready for adaptation or is accustomed to an existing package you wouldn't need to be paying for build from scratch. -Stu
