If you want cheapest, get TalkTalk. Having heard other people's horror
stories, however, it might not be the wisest move.

Not sure how or if LLU (local loop unbundling) affects this, but it
used to be that any ADSL ran over BT's wires, so a BT line was a
prerequisite for getting ADSL.

Obviously cable from TeNTLeWestBlueVirginYonderMedia is entirely
separate and doesn't need a BT line. Customer service may not do your
blood pressure much good, though (again, so I've heard [1]).
