No kickings were administered - call it my paranoia. Anyway - a couple of reasons for not spamming you all about skillswap: 1. It was full full full so I only spammed attendees and reserves once it was full - thus you only got one announcement 2. I really don't want to spam you lot endlessly; I can get over-excited and bore people about knowledge, communities and all that ((trust me, my late night 'drunk in charge social software' rants about the forces of evil aren't worth receiving) so I set my internal editor on full power a lot And another thing, it is useful for [_] but not *the* most exciting thing on the list, no way. Oh, and, Dan did a great job. I think his brain is a bit fried by trying to encapsulate it all into 40 mins, but he'll recover... fyi: [_] gets the scoop in skillswap announcements (don't tell the other lucky souls who get spammed) because this is where it came from. You are the originators of it and it is rooted in you. And Laura and I remember this at all times. We are working out how to get more of the decision-making done in the google group, so it doesn't feel like we're encroaching on [_] (or other lists), but I'll talk about that when I haven't been in Birmingham on the day job... so, sorry for the confusion, move along now, nothing more to see here... Ooh there was just one thing I had to spam you about... Nah, I'll do that tomorrow morning...
