Tim, Another vote for Standing Order. We do it with over 100 law firms and it's not a problem. You pre-fill all the information and just ask them to enter their bank details then send YOU back the form so you can send it on to the bank. Dead easy and suitably professional when done the right way. Email me off list if you'd like a copy of our form. None of the banks seemed interested in giving us a Direct Debit facility so we give the choice of annually in advance or monthly by standing order. It is very quick and easy to set up an SO. We thought about using our Worldpay facility, with cart identities generated by the callback facility, but the charges would be high (and perhaps your customers would have to use a credit card?). I would go for standing orders every time.
