A pen and paper for me too.

I thought that for the first ever FOWD it was an excellent event -
industry leading speakers, inspiration, free software, good networking,
day out of the office and free beer.

Given the mix of activity that Web Design embraces - xhtml/css, flash, new
media, web development, graphic design, digital marketing... difficult to
please all of the audience all of the time.

Highlights for me were Rei Inamoto (AKQA), Nat Hunter (Airside) and Ryan
Singer.
