The law may be "wrong" and Sony may have used it in a way that has angered
its customers, but there does have to be some sort of compromise between
international trade and national IP rights, and at the moment the line is
drawn at a point where a lot of conflict occurs in certain sectors, games
being one. If you'd created a great product sold under a trade mark but you
could only ensure consistent supplies and support in certain territories
while you got your supply chain and brand support sorted, you might share
Sony's view...?
