I've started using www.cakephp.org for most things now (from ecommerce
to simple static sites), have been very happy with it. it's php4 and 5
compatible. I looked at Symfony, but the level of config required to
just start a prject put me off. I also looked at Code Igniter, but
found the cake community much more active.
