Thanks - actually this was just the sort of info I was looking for. I  
was aware of Fairpoint's existence but wasn't sure whether they'd be  
any use or not. Sounds like I'd best avoid.

Bizarrely I've discovered someone just down the road from me who's  
coming to pick up the dead G5 up tonight.... reckons its probably the  
power supply (apparently a bit of an issue on these models).
