From the description of the attack given, it appears that it was a
web application that was exploited.
This would be outside the scope of the Hardware and OS-level support
they feature in their standard fanatical support - although on many
occasions I have known them to go beyond the call of what is covered.

As for forensics - just check your weblogs (raw!). You will probably
find its phpBB ;)
