I'd be interested in taking a look.  Although the rumour (which may be 
unfounded) I heard was that any future updates to flash would be for 
designers and that actionscript wouldn't get any more updates until the 
player for portable devices had caught up to the web player...

I'm still struggling to 'get' flex though as an alternative to writing 
web 2.0 type apps.. but i'm probably missing the point.
