I kind of get it now. There are faaaaaar more things to take into account
than just the clock speed!

Having read quite a few articles about the Core 2 Duo, I think it is the one
I will go for. I still can't justify spending $300 on the E6700 though, so
E6600 it is. Now I am off on a search for the right motherboard!
