One thing to note is that the 6280 isn't a Series 60 phone (ie. it's
not a smartphone). For me, this was a show-stopper. I like the
small-but-perfectly-formed set of apps I have installed on my 6680
(KeyLocker, London A-to-Z, FExplorer)

I've got a 6680, which is okay... a bit slow at times,
unfortunately. iSync is dealt with by a little app automatically
installed on the phone when you pair it. Once installed, it just
sits there (no control necessary).

Not sure about modem use, as I've never had the need. Steve Roome's
been using an N70 via Bluetooth for remote access (albeit not on a
mac) and was ranting about it somewhat at one point.

I noticed one slight annoyance when my Bluetooth dongle died and I
reverted to the free USB cable: it doesn't work. iSync only seems
to work with Bluetooth nowadays. Hmm. Not sure if I was missing
something there.

Apple really have to sort out this phone versioning thing. It's
silly to have to wait for an iSync software update just so they can
add a phone and install a new icon, when it works just fine anyway.
They should really just certify and compatibilitise all Series 60
phones.

The day they release a Treo without a sticking-out aerial, I'll get
interested. In the old days (c. 1997), the aerial on my phone was
the first thing that would snap, crack or break off, and before that
happened it would rip little holes in my pockets and get caught on
things.
