Ok, so I've taken a brief vacation from my mostly-lurking state to alert environmentally-friendly underscorers to a green event about to take place at the Watershed, if you don't know about it already (read below). It's partly to do with how we turn Bristol into a zero emission city for the long haul but discussions will contribute greatly to Bristol's digital challenge bid (www.connectingbristol.org). Shindigs with food and drinks usually get my full support regardless of subject matter, but in this case some good quality conversations are also on the table in good-sized portions (if I was feeling punny I'd mention something about food for thought but it sounded crap in my head so see if you can do better :-) ). Hope to see some of you there (let Jane Porter know if you're showing up)! cheers, Jaya nameless P.S. Generally argumentative underscorers will also be welcome (Roomey??) *Digital Café, Thursday 4th January 2007 6pm-8pm, Watershed* Please join us in a Digital Café to discuss the Bristol project and bring new ideas to the table. The Sustainability community in Bristol is already active and have met in sustainability cafes this year. The evening will be based on World Cafe type discussions and will be led by members of the Bristol Sustainability Café team and the Bristol Sustainability Network. Food and drinks provided in café ambience. Please respond to Jane Porter jane at connectingbristol.org
