There's loads of those Holux GPS's on eBay but they go for a lot less than
this, £30ish.

Some of the ones on eBay come with cradles and the charger, mine has an old
style Nokia charger connection. Not that you'd need an in car charger the
battery life on mine is something like a week.

I *think* it depends on the number of channels that the receiver has, go for
a 32 channel one and it will work indoors and in the car.

The TomTom mobile/PDA software works really well on my Nokia N80. Its not
just for cars either, it gives you walking and cycling routes.
