I had assumed I'd be taking this route so I could get the best
receiver, they seem to be in the 20 to 80 quid range, e.g:

Plus I'd of course need to buy the cradle/charger and find the
software. I've budgeted about a ton.

I'll jump onto some specialist forums and ask the ppl there. For
example it'd  be good to know if one could place the receiver in the
glove compartment and it still work (though I doubt it)
