If only. Currently it's an invisible rubber chicken. Seriously. Collect some core files. If the traceback is in the same place each time, you have a culprit. Apache2 + FastCGI is actually the new darling of the perl frameworks mob and a lot of work has gone into it. Are you using standard debian stuff or have you built your own?
