The Underscore Archives

I recommended Mozilla, but the one feature the person wanted was to be
able to strip ghastly frontpage etc. formatting from old content. Does
not look like Composer does this (it can strip some of the junk, but
not all).

Anyone got any suggestions as to what else to try? Client using
Windows - but OS X and Java suggestions gratefully received too.
