Their claim is:
"Now, NVIDIA unveils a revolutionary approach to combining multiple
GPUs in a single system to scale performance. NVIDIA® SLI"
It very much a matter of opinion and conjecture as it is yet to be
seen wether SLI causes a revolution this time around. But IMO it is
not a "revolutionary approach" as it has been done before, all they
are doing is unveiling the latest application of an existing
technology.
