The Underscore Archives

		Dearest underscorers,

I am pulling my hair out over a layout issue.
I want to use css.
Tables are giving me grief anyway as they don't do what I want them to 
do.

Here I have a typical template page. On the left is a table. On the 
right is a css layout.
All I want is the column 1 background to extend down to the same height 
as the right-hand one - Column 2.
Is this possible?
Also bear in mind - that sometimes it will be in reverse ( Column 1 may 
be taller than Column 2 )

Please, please help - I'm down on my knees begging.....
