oh, maybe I mis(skim)read the thread, still a rant against kiosk mode is
always a good thing too :)

After all the angry posts and people threatening breaches of the UN human
rights convention, I dont think (IMHO) that a few angry techies with
big/double monitors is the worst reason for doing this.
Simply ask your mother/father/great uncle who can just about get there email
off hotmail and buy a book for you for christmas from amazon to surf a site
that goes full screen and watch there faces as all familiar browser controls
and indeed 'their computer' is taken over by your site.
They will either switch off at the mains or spend three to four hours on a
support call to some poor ISP support person who has no idea what they are
talking about.
Kiosk mode is for Kiosks, got it!
