from a purely aesthetic point of view it looks better. 

after years of different people tinkering with the template
it would've been nice to have all the areas of the site
brought back into line with the overall look. much more
cohesive. but they've obviously still got a way to go
before that happens.

navigationally it's gone downhill twice. once while i was
there (before that it was un-improvable to my mind) and now
again. i think it's trying for a 'portal' look. all those
lists at the bottom just confuse me. 

the BBCi thing is a bit pointless, but it could've been
much worse.

it's still one of the best sites around. all the best to
'em...
