It's certainly interesting, although some of the vertical navigation from
the original was very easy to use. I think that first time users will have a
bit of a problem but experienced internet users will have no problem. I
would have put the news information on the left and put chubby sonia on the
right as it will only really be relevent to some of your users, and if
that's the type of thing that's going to go there then it is of secondry
importance.

On the whole I think it looks more cluttered rather than less as you've made
more information fit into a smaller space but it depends on if your user
feedback really disliked the lengths of the pages on the original, I didn't
mind it.

I think the BBCi is really naff. It's not really needed and the i is
indentical itv's i. The BBC doesn't need this brand tinkering, it's strong
enough as it is and I thought the BBC Online tag was more descriptive and
simpler.
